Secure Link Expiration & Refresh Policy

At Signit, your document security is our top priority. To maintain secure access while providing a smooth experience, we’ve introduced an auto-expiration and refresh mechanism for inactive links.

How Link Expiration Works

1. For Non-Verification Links

These are access links without additional authentication methods (e.g., SMS, Absher, Nafath).

  • Expires After 10 Days of Inactivity
    If the link is not clicked within 10 days, it automatically expires.

  • New Link Issued Automatically
    When you try to access an expired link, you’ll instantly receive a fresh, secure link to continue viewing your document.

2. For Verification Links

These include access links that require extra authentication (e.g., via SMS, Absher, Nafath).

  • Do Not Expire
    These links remain valid until:

    • The document itself expires

    • The document is canceled

No manual refresh is required for these links.

What You’ll Receive If a Link Expires

We’ll keep you informed with a notification via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp once your link is refreshed.
