Definition and importance of the audit trail The audit trail is a detailed log of all actions performed on a document, including:
- When the document was created and sent.
- Actions taken by participants (e.g., signing, approving).
- Timestamps for every action.
Purpose:
- Ensures transparency.
- Provides proof of authenticity and compliance.
How to view it:
Go to the document details page and click View Audit Trail.
