How to make fields required or optional
Setting field requirements Fields can be marked as required or optional, depending on the document’s needs. Here’s how to configure this:
- Select the field: Click on the field you want to configure.
- Open field properties: In the Field Properties menu, locate the Required checkbox.
- Toggle the setting:
- Check the box to make the field required.
- Leave it unchecked to make the field optional.
- Save the settings: Changes will automatically apply to the field.
Note: Required fields must be completed by participants before they can submit the document, ensuring no critical information is missed.
