How to view a document's audit trail

Steps to access the audit log for a document The audit trail provides a detailed record of all actions taken on a document. Here’s how to view it:

  1. Locate the document:
    • Log in to your account and navigate to the Documents section.

    • Search for or select the document for which you want to view the audit trail.
  2. Open the audit trail:
    • Click on the three dots located on the right side of the document then select the Download button.
    • Select View Audit Trail from the options menu.

  1. Review the activity log:
    • The audit trail displays a chronological list of actions, including:
      • When the document was created, sent, and signed.
      • Actions taken by participants, such as signing or declining.
      • Date and time stamps for each action.

Note: The audit trail is useful for maintaining compliance and verifying document integrity.
