# How to Correct PDF File Rotation?

## If fields are rotated in Signit because the scanned document is not vertical or at a 90/180/270 degree angle. to ensure the signature field appears correctly. Please follow these steps:

### **1. Open the PDF File**

- Use Adobe Acrobat Reader to open your PDF file.

### **2. Print the PDF**

- Press **Ctrl + P** on your keyboard. This will open the print dialog.

### **3. Set Orientation**

- In the print dialog, look for the **Orientation** option.
- Select **Portrait** to force all pages to be in a vertical direction.

### **4. Print and Save**

- Click on the **Print** button.
- When prompted, save the new document with a different name to ensure you keep the original file.

### **5. Upload to Signit**

- After saving the newly oriented document, you can upload it to Signit. The fields should now appear in the correct direction.
